Whether you have owned multiple boats in your lifetime, just bought your first boat, or thinking about buying a boat; you will find something useful.
Buying a new to you boat can be a very exciting experience. While this can be true, you can have the time of your life with a little bit of education!
Whenever buying a boat, the first thing you should do is go to the USCG website and take a “Boating Safety Course.” Regardless if you have owned a boat before or not, you will forget what you do not use regularly. And taking one of these courses either for the first time or as a refresher will exponentially increase the enjoyment you will get out of your boat. And as an added benefit, most insurance companies will give you a discount on your insurance!!
